New preprint 'Counting symmetric unimodular triangulations'

Our paper on counting unimodular triangulations of a plane triangle that are themselves symmetric just got on the arXiv. It’s a nice application of recent improvements to TOPCOM and also comes with some insights into the asymptotics of the number of such triangulations. This is joint work with Michael Joswig and Jörg Rambau.

New preprint 'Minimum bounding polytropes for estimation of max-linear Bayesian networks'

My paper on a geometric analysis of the (generalized) maximum likelihood estimator for MLBNs just dropped on the arXiv. This goes into minimum bounding polytropes of finite sets of points and I raise a fun little question about set coverings of the dual regular subdivisions.

New preprint 'Good Triangulations of Cosmological Polytopes' dropped

Our paper regarding good triangulations of cosmological polytopes just appeared on the arXiv. In particular, we describe the good triangulations and $h^*$-polynomial of cosmological polytopes for all possible multigraphs. This is joint work with Aenne Benjes and Benjamin Schröter.
